LVGMC APPOINTS NEW ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Lehigh Valley Gay Men's Chorus (LVGMC) has concluded its search for an artistic director and has announced the appointment of Beverly Morgan. Morgan is an adjunct faculty member at Moravian College, a mezzo-soprano soloist and artistic director for ACCO (A Chorus Celebrating Women).

She will lead the LVGMC into its third season, building on past credits that include appearances at Mayfair, Lehigh Valley's Pridefest, Lucent Technologies and performances with Metropolitan Opera star Marilyn Horne and ACCO.

Morgan will make her debut with the LVGMC on Nov. 2, when the chorus will hold its annual fall concert at Wesley United Methodist Church, Bethlehem. Information: 437-1195.
